We lost 3.5 to 1.5 yesterday but outcome could have been different.

I played a French exchange with all pieces except a knight off board and agreed an early draw. I could watch other games.

Adrian allowed a bad bishop skewer on his queen & rook losing heavily.

Josh played well and was in a winning position but went wrong threatened with a pawn queening & weak back rank. Still had a couple of chances to win but then lost.

Darren C played a good attacking game. Was repulsed but missed win.

Then offered a draw in Queen and 6 pawns v 2 rooks + 4 pawns. I think win could have been there due to passed pawns. Darren offered a draw as he said he was tired of the battle.

Mark played well to hold a strong Andrew and had turned game his way in a complex rook, knight + pawns ending. He was also 20 mins up against 50 seconds.

Mark offered a draw and was quickly accepted. I think Mark would have won but as last game to finish would not have changed match outcome.
